The plant or herb, at the bottom is superseded by the herbivore and then the carnivore. And when you expect the all-annihilating nuclear bomb to top it all, you realize it money, the controlling factor, which tops the chain.

As part of society, we are required to conform, lie and pretend to be happy. Nature on the other hand allows you to be yourself – but sometimes you may be considered insane.

‘I Feel’ made by a 16 year old school girl from Delhi, shows a little girl on a beach, holding a conch shell to her ear to listen to, what is believed to be, the primordial sound of creation. These shots juxtaposed with the litter on the beach – signifying the damage and destruction of our natural resources by humans – successfully creates a sense of discomfort in the viewer.

A young boy puts up his painting of a verdant earth against a blazing, red sun. When the sun begins to drip blood all over the earth, the boy wakes up with a start and is reassured to find the picture intact, the sun shining and the birds chirping outside his window.

A land developer comes to the sleepy countryside in the hope of converting it into a bustling commercial district. Mr.Mathew, an environmentalist, employs minor pranks to frighten the developer and his cronies away.

A little girl enjoys observing nature and playing the flute. But her parents fail to understand the passions of the little girl and insist on ‘disciplining’ her, destroying her spirit in the process.

A hard hitting anti-abortion film. A young wife gets pregnant much to the exasperation of her husband, who insists that she undergo an abortion procedure. The wife will have nothing of this and asks the husband to make a choice – either he accepts her with the baby or they part ways.

The film tries to capture the trauma of a mute girl who witnesses a gruesome murder on the beach.

A crotchety old man finds a little boy squatting by his flowerbed. Presuming that the boy is plucking flowers, he reprimands him. But as he drives off in a huff, he himself breaks a couple of flowerpots. The little boy gives the old man an annoyed look and resumes his activity – replanting an uprooted sapling in the flowerbed.
